Join us for wholesome half term fun at Sompting Pumpkins this October at Halewick Lane!
We feel incredibly lucky to live and work in such a beautiful location, surrounded by nature, wildlife and fresh country air. We are proud to provide a wholesome half term activity for all the family here at Sompting Pumpkins that allows families and people of all ages to get away from it all and enjoy stunning, unspoilt countryside – and pumpkins of course!
The NHS and other wellbeing resources often mention the important role that the great outdoors and natural environments play in our mental health and wellbeing. Seeing our pumpkins grow, the changing seasons, thriving wildlife and stunning scenery of the South Downs National Park (which we are very proud to be part of) is something that we are very grateful for and we enjoy sharing that experience with each and every one of our visitors. 
A great day out, raising funds for great causes.
As well as picking pumpkins, we are delighted to offer craft activities, tractor and trailer rides, hot drinks, food, pumpkin-themed produce and much more.
Entry and parking are free and if you want to keep costs down when you visit us, we have a designated picnic area for people to bring their own food and drink if they wish.
We are pleased to be support Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice. All proceeds from our tractor and trailer rides will go to this incredible charity and there will also be donation buckets at various points across the site if you would like to show your support.
Meeting the community with scarecrow making fun
Last weekend, we were honoured to host children and families from our local Sompting village community to enjoy some scarecrow making fun here at our pumpkin farm, thanks to generous funding and support from Sompting Big Local.
We were delighted to meet local families, many of whom have supported us over the years here at Sompting Pumpkins, and encourage families to return and enjoy pumpkin picking on the farm from 8th October.
